Breaking Through the Winter of Adversity: How to Melt Freezing Adversity in Life's Invincible Summer
We all run into adversity in life – and usually we move through it with minimal pain and suffering. But there are times in our lives when the adversity is so great that seems like a bitter, endless winter. We feel cold and disconnected from everything that we once knew.
It’s at times like these when the opportunity to discover who we truly are and what we are capable of achieving is the strongest. But, unless we choose to see the hidden opportunity in that challenge, the gift goes unnoticed and untapped.
Even if we have no idea how to end a long-lasting winter in our lives, we can choose to stand in the belief that there is a possible path forward and a possible solution. Let the situation be as cold as winter but know the heat of truth lies within us. It says no matter how bitter the conditions are there is a Power available to us that is stronger and can melt any circumstance. We are connected to an Infinite Source of intelligence, healing light and resources upon which we can draw.
But, drawing upon this Infinite Source requires that we first believe – or even just desire to believe – in the possibility. We move toward “summer” when we recognize that there is always hope. There is always a solution. As we persist in that belief, it will lead us, step by step, to the “Invincible Summer” within each of our lives.
